February Festivals in Africa
Thursday January 8, 2009
Africa's biggest film festival takes place this February in Burkina Faso. Zanzibar will come alive with the sounds of Swahili music during the annual Sauti za Busara music festival. Hindus in Mauritius will be battling the pain of various body piercings as they celebrate the colorful Cavadee Festival. And Cape Town will get gussied up for its annual Gay Pride event. All these festivals are preceded by an inspiring cultural festival in Mali, held on the banks of the mighty Niger River. Get more details by clicking -- February Festivals in Africa.
