Ancient Sites Around the World

While Africa is home to the last remaining Ancient Wonder of the World, the Great Pyramid of Giza, there are plenty of other civilizations that have also come and gone. Some ruins are world famous, like the Greek Parthenon, others are more obscure including Great Zimbabwe and the Meroe Pyramids in Sudan.
