Marrakech train stationTraveling by train in Morocco is efficient and comfortable, words you don't often associate with public transport in Africa. The only drawback about train travel in Morocco is that the network isn't very extensive, but it does include major destinations like Marrakech, Tangier, Casablanca, Rabat and Fes. If you want to travel by train in Morocco I've got some tips that will help you plan your trip. These include travel times, bus connections, booking tips and more information.

If you have a choice between traveling by train or bus in Morocco, always choose the train. The views are wonderful, the seats are comfortable and the train is usually air-conditioned. Platforms and train stations are very easy to navigate and since there's really only a single line, it's impossible to get lost and board the wrong train. Most of the train staff speaks excellent French and a smattering of English, so you'll be able to purchase and book the tickets you need. Find out more about train Travel in Morocco ...
