It's impossible for me to run out of topics to write about. Africa is too dynamic, vast and exciting for that to happen. But after blogging several times a week for over seven years, I frequently turn to a reliable group of blogs and web sites for inspiration. Of course Twitter, Facebook, travel magazines, books and various safari newsletters also help to feed my insatiable appetite for Africa related tidbits.
At a recent APTA event, I was asked to give some tips and advice to tour operators who also write blogs and manage social media for their companies. I realized there weren't too many useful lists of great African blogs/web sites out there. So, I put my own list together. Some of you will no doubt be very familiar with the BBC's Africa coverage and TripAdvisor's impressive collection of African accommodation reviews.
