Spotting Wildlife On Your African Safari

Thursday March 10, 2005
lionblog.JPG Spotting wildlife while on safari isn't always the easiest thing to do. I've been on many lengthy drives at decent game parks and seen nothing but a couple of bushbuck and a warthog. Obviously I was going at the wrong time of year and at the wrong time of day.

You will always see more animals in an hour at a local zoo than in an hour at the best game park in Kenya. These parks and reserves are huge, often bigger than some European countries and the animals are wearing camouflage. So you need to know when to go and what to look for. Here's a guide to help you make the most of your wildlife viewing adventures.
