African Safari: Photos from Botswana
Index: Wildlife in the Okavango Delta

The Okavango Delta in Botswana is a magnet for wildlife. The Okavango river cuts through the center of the Kalahari desert creating a unique ecosystem that gives life to a huge variety of birds and mammals. With a good selection of lodges and campsites to stay at, the Okavango Delta is fast becoming a favorite safari destination. It's a little more expensive than going on safari in Kenya because many of the camps are only accessible by light aircraft, but the experience is worth it. Enjoy the wildlife photos below.
