Gorilla Safaris in Uganda
Uganda is probably best known as a gorilla safari destination. With only 650 mountain gorillas left in the world it is a truly unique experience to be able to see them in their natural habitat. Uganda is host to around half the mountain gorilla population and you can see them in two of Uganda's national parks; Mgahinga Gorilla National Park and Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park. For more information about gorilla tracking see my Guide to Gorilla Safaris.
