Hippo at Mweya Game Lodge
This hippo came right up to where Bengt Korpas (of Gorilla Safaris) was enjoying a log fire after dinner at Mweya Game Lodge in the Queen Elizabeth National Park. Hippos are actually the most dangerous of all the large mammals you can see while on safari in Uganda. See my article on How to Stay Safe While on Safari for more information.
