Ugandan Safaris
After more than 25 years of civil strife, Uganda has been at peace since the mid-1980's. The wildlife which had been devastated by marauding armies has since returned and the parks and facilities are back to their original excellence. Tourism has been slow to catch up but as the parks in Kenya get more crowded, Uganda is increasingly being seen as a wonderful alternative. The National Parks are clean and well-run and there are numerous acommodation options catering to all budgets.
