Ugandans are the "friendliest of all Africans"With its recent history of nasty dictators (Obote and Idi Amin) murdering more than 400,000 civilians, it is all the more impressive that Ugandans themselves are still among the friendliest of all Africans. As the Lonely Planet guidebook says "you will not meet a sullen, bitter or cowed people". Uganda is also one of the safest African countries to visit.
