Tree-Climbing Lions
There are only two populations of lions in the world that climb trees and Uganda boasts one of them. The tree-climbing lions live in Ishasha which is in the south sector of the Queen Elizabeth National Park. It's a unique sight and few people get to witness it since there are no permanent accommodation facilities in this part of the National Park. While you are looking for lions you can also enjoy spectacular birdlife, chimpanzees, hippos, crocodiles, colobus monkeys and much more.
