The
2010 World Cup is being held on African soil for the first time in the history of this
soccer crazy continent. Six African nations took part in South Africa's 2010 World Cup. They are:
Algeria,
Ghana,
Cameroon,
South Africa,
Ivory Coast and
Nigeria.
The World Cup started on June 11th with the final taking place exactly a month later. I will be following the African teams throughout the tournament.
