Cote d'Ivoire (Ivory Coast) - Les Elephants
Ivory Coast's Les Elephants were unbeaten in their run up to qualify for the 2010 World Cup. They are the strongest African team going into the tournament. Their first appearance at a World CUp was in Germany (2006) where they were unlucky in drawing a very tough first round group. And unfortunately, they have drawn the "group of death" in 2010 and will play Brazil, Portugal and Korea DPR. The Ivory Coast will have to step up its game in order to make it through, but if they do, they have a good chance of doing very well. Star players include Didier Drogba, Salomon Kalou, Didier Zokora, Yaya Toure, Emmanuel Eboue and Kolo Toure. The Elephants are coached by Vahid Halilhodzic, a Bosnian who has an undefeated record with this team since he took the job in May, 2008.
